Extension activities of the college mainly comprises of organizing refresher courses for dairy plant personnel; providing technology and consultancy to interested dairy entrepreneurs on specific product/ area; training personnel in QA techniques and aflatoxin analysis; Chemical and microbiological analysis of milk and milk products for BIS and private and co-operative dairies; supplying starters and probiotic cultures; providing guest faculty to Extension Education Institute, Anand, NDDB and Amul Dairy, Anand; participating in Krushi Melas and other exhibitions and publishing research papers, technical and/or popular articles and monographs.
